Yard Waste

Yard Waste Image

Residents that require yellow yard waste stickers are asked to tape a sign marked “yard waste” to their yard waste bins during the closure of our Town Office. Stickers will be available for pick up at Customer Service once the Civic Centre re-opens.

Yard Waste is collected every second week from April to November on your scheduled collection days.  Please be sure to refer to your calendar or Recycle Coach, the new waste & recycling application.

All yard waste, other than branches, is to be in brown bags or in a rigid garbage can marked with a yellow yard waste sticker. Yard waste stickers are available for pick up from Customer Service at the Civic Center FREE of charge. Residents can also pick up yard waste stickers at the Holland Landing and Mount Albert Libraries.

Note: During the COVID-19 response, please label your own bins as Yard Waste clearly for operators.

Yard waste MUST be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on your collection day. Twigs and branches must be bundled in lengths no longer than four feet on the collection days ONLY. Residents are reminded that the weight of a filled container or bag is not to exceed 23 kg (50lb).
