The Zoning By-law Amendment application proposes to recognize an existing “office use” that supports the current sod business on the property. The property is zoned Rural (RU) and recognizes agricultural use. However, designated office use is not a permitted use under the Rural (RU) zone. The Town has requested the applicant proceed with two comment circulations for the zoning by-law amendment application before submitting their site plan control application. The zoning amendment application will seek to bring all the existing buildings on the subject property into conformity with the Zoning By-law.
