We’re combining two of our hottest summer events to bring you the ultimate Music and Market Night experience. Get ready for live music and performances, food and artisan vendors, fun and more.

This year, Music and Market Nights will move from Thursdays to Tuesdays evenings in July and August from 4 to 9 p.m. at the East Gwillimbury Civic Centre (19000 Leslie Street) for a vibrant weekly celebration of live music, local food, shopping and community. Admission for this event is free, with food and items for sale as part of the Vendor Market.

Vendor Market

We encourage vendors to join us for full 8-week Music and Market season to help build consistency and attendance throughout the series. Early bird pricing is available for vendors to apply for the full-season.

Tuesday, August 4 - Honky Tonk Night

Headliner Performance: Rob Watts Band

Formed in May 2015, the members of the band are humbled to have played over 200 shows, including opening for artists such as Thomas Rhett, Brett Young, Aaron Pritchett, Jason McCoy & The Road Hammers, The Washboard Union, Meghan Patrick, River Town Saints, Bobby Wills, Cold Creek County, and more, as well as sharing the same stage as legends such as Alan Jackson, Florida Georgia Line, Dallas Smith and more.

In 2018, Rob and his band made a career dream come true by playing the Main Stage at Boots and Hearts, kicking off the final day of the festival. The "Rob Watts Band" pride themselves on a high energy, crowd-involved, show and put their heart an souls into each and every performance.

Headliner Performance: Mudmen

Always entertaining and definitely unique, Mudmen are a blast of Celtic energy whose members are known to be characters both on and off the stage. First discovered as "The Campbell Brothers", the Brothers signed a record deal with EMI Records changing their name to "Mudmen" in the late 90's.        Re-established in 1998 Mudmen have performed at festivals, theatres, events and clubs in eight different countries with over 3000 shows to date and 11 studio albums.

Accessible Parking: Accessible parking is available on site at the East Gwillimbury Civic Center.

 

Accessible Washrooms: Accessible portable washrooms are available on site. They are located in beside the parking lot on the grass, just behind the stage area.

 

Event Floor Surface: This is an outdoor event. The stage viewing area is located on grass, which may include uneven terrain and slopes. The market area is mostly located on gravel, with some vendors set up on grass surfaces.

 

Seating: Seating will be limited on site. There will be some picnic tables available in the middle of the field, but guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.

 

Accessibility Supports: Alternative formats of event communications and information are available upon request. If you require a copy of any event communications or information in an alternative format, please email EGEvents@eastgwillimbury.ca.
