07:00 PM | This meeting will be presented online

"Fighting the Triffids":  popular speaker Sean James introduces native alternatives to invasive ornamentals in the garden. Some garden plants can be too successful in our gardens, taking up more than their share of the space. Sean James suggests native plants which will help keep the garden beautiful while providing food and shelter for birds, bees and butterflies.

All are welcome to join us with GoogleMeet for this interesting presentation. For a link to join the meeting, please email eggardeners@gmail.com.

Join us for a free in-person workshop dedicated to revolutionizing the way entrepreneurs create new ideas. In an era where innovation is the cornerstone of success, this workshop aims to incite a change in entrepreneurial thinking.

In this workshop we delve deep into the psyche of the modern entrepreneur. Through this workshop and thought-provoking discussions led by industry expert Leo Chan, attendees will gain an understanding of what creativity is, key principles to stimulate, nurture, and grow their creativity and gain tools to incorporate creative practices into their lives. Creativity is the fuel for innovation - it’s what enables individuals to generate ideas and possibilities to solve problems. It’s also one of the most desired skills for the future of work. But, people either think you’re creative or you’re not. This isn’t the case. Creativity is a muscle. Those who exercise creativity are more creative; those who don’t, are less creative.

Join us with Leo Chan the founder of Abound Innovation Inc. He's a people and heart-first entrepreneur who believes everyone can be an innovator. An innovator himself, with 55 US patents and over 20 years of experience, Leo has come alongside organizations like Chick-fil-A and guided them to unleash the innovative potential of their employees by transforming them into confident innovators. Leo’s friendly, joyful and enthusiastic demeanor makes the journey to innovation exciting and attainable.
