Pop-Up Vaccination Clinic in EG

On Wednesday June 9th, East Gwillimbury will be raising all Town flags following the observance of 215 hours at half-mast to honour the lives of the 215 Indigenous children found on the grounds of the Kamloops Indian Residential School in British Columbia.

This does not signify an end to the importance of this issue, the continued attention it deserves, or the affect it has on our Indigenous community and our entire Country. Together we must continue to honour the lives of the 215 children and the lives of all victims of the residential school system.

East Gwillimbury Council will engage with our Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee and the community to find ways to take action and begin this important journey towards reconciliation.
