Summer Adult Fitness

Get active this summer with our Summer Adult Fitness Programs! Pick and choose which classes you would like to partake in. You can find the Summer Adult Fitness schedule and other important information below!

The 2021 Summer Adult Fitness Schedule will run from July 5 to August 30. This "drop-in style" program is great for a busy schedule. Register for the dates that work for you without being tied down to one program!

Program descriptions

Barre Strength

Barre Strength is inspired by ballet, yoga and pilates. It improves posture, strengthens, and tones the body through low-impact and high intensity movements creating a lean physique.

Bootcamp 

This class focuses on strength, and endurance focusing mainly on body weight exercises. Join the instructor in a challenging yet fun workout that will create a healthy you!

Core and More

Exercises that will use your whole body while emphasizing your core and more! Your core includes all of the 4 areas of your abdominals, back, glutes and beyond. Strengthening your abs and back will improve your posture and balance and increase your flexibility so you can stand taller and move better! A mat, water bottle, weights, body weight or household items may all be used throughout this program.

EG Running Club

Come together at our beautiful, scenic Nokiidaa/Rogers Reservoir trail as we run together on a weekly basis. Whether you're a beginner or have enjoyed running for years, we will encourage each other to keep our bodies moving and improve our cardio each week! 

HIIT The Playground

‘HIIT The Playground’ at one of our outdoor fitness pods! This program is high, intensity, interval, training that will work all parts of your body and improve overall fitness. Strength, cardio, balance, and flexibility will all be incorporated into this enjoyable, outdoor program!

FAIR EG for Seniors

The Town of East Gwillimbury now offers a new fee assistant program called FAIR EG Seniors to ensure seniors can participate in recreation opportunities in their community.

What is Fair EG Seniors?
FAIR EG Seniors was designed to remove financial barriers, promote inclusiveness, and provide accessible recreational opportunities for Seniors.
How do I apply?
The FAIR EG Seniors process is completely confidential, respectful, and dignified. Fill out a FAIR EG Application Form or contact our Recreational Services Team.
