CONTRACT NO. 2006-1

WATERMAIN CONSTRUCTION ON MOUNT ALBERT ROAD BETWEEN #5522 MOUNT ALBERT ROAD AND CENTRE STREET AND WATERMAIN VALVE REPLACEMENT ON HI VIEW DRIVE, MOUNT ALBERT

NO TENDERS WILL BE FAXED, E-MAILED OR COURIERED

The construction of a new 150 mm diameter P.V.C watermain approximately 250 metres in length complete with appurtenances between #5522 Mount Albert Road and Centre Street in Mount Albert, and removal and replacement of two 350 mm valves on Hi-View Drive, Mount Albert.

SEALED TENDERS, plainly marked as to contents, will be received by the Clerk of the Town of East Gwillimbury at the Municipal Offices, 19000 Leslie Street Sharon, Ontario, until 2:00 p.m. local time, on:

THURSDAY, APRIL 20, 2006

Tender documents and specifications may be obtained from the Office of the Town Engineer upon payment to the Finance Department of a $25.00 non-refundable fee for each set, and will be available on or after:

TUESDAY, APRIL 4, 2006

Each tender for Contract No. 2006-1 must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of $10,000.00.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

Tenders will be opened at 2:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers on Thursday, April 20, 2006.
