Assisting in Haiti's Relief Effort

East Gwillimbury Council is donating $1,000 to the Haiti relief effort, using non-tax levy funds. There is a humanitarian crisis ongoing in Haiti following the earthquake. On January 14th, 2010, the Government of Canada announced that it will match Canadian's donations to the earthquake relief effort.
