The collection includes over 55,000 items in various formats, including books, magazines, newspapers, government documents, videos and DVDs, music CDs, CD-ROMs, talking books, electronic databases, eBooks, and eAudiobooks.

The reference collection at the library includes information on small businesses, computers, job searching, antiques, and local history. A collection of select federal and provincial government documents is also maintained at the library.
