The Town of East Gwillimbury has been closely monitoring the situation related to COVID-19. We are committed to doing everything we can to continue to protect our residents and staff.

We are implementing precautionary measures to help keep people safe.

Effective Friday, March 13, 2020, we will be closing the following Town of East Gwillimbury’s facilities:

  • East Gwillimbury Sports Complex
  • Ross Family Complex
  • Mount Albert Lions Community Centre
  • Mount Albert Community Centre
  • North Union Community Centre
  • River Drive Park Community Cente
  • Harvest Hill Activity Centre
  • Holland Landing Community Centre

This will impact all Town programming (Drop-in Programs, Children’s Programs, Adult and Older Adult Programs as well as Ice Programs)

Public Skating Schedule - Spring 2020


Changes to our public skating schedule may occur. Please check back here for current information including changes or cancellations. You may also contact the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex at (905)-478-3826.

Please refer to our facility hours for any cancellations. Any skating programs that are held on holiday closures at the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex will be cancelled.

Attention: (Last updated Sunday, March 1st, 2020 @ 1:15 p.m.)

  • Friday, March 13th, 2020: Senior Shinny will be cancelled and will return as usual on the following Wednesday. 

  • Thursday, March 19th, 2020: Adult Recreational Skate will be moved to 1:30 p.m. on the Atlas Pad

Winter 2019-Spring 2020 Public Skating Schedule

Please note that ticket ice is available at the New Roads West Pad every Thursday from 3:30 to 4:20 p.m. until March 31st. The cost is $5/person.
