Zoom information

Some of our recreational programs run through an online video-chat platform called Zoom. Please review the information below before your first virtual program.

How to join a zoom class

Please follow the instructions below on how to join a class through Zoom.

  • There is no download required. We will send you a link through email on the day of your first class.
  • Copy and paste the link into your internet browser at the time of the program. This link will remain the same for the entire duration of the program.
  • Once you open Zoom, your child will enter a waiting room.
  • The instructor will grant permission for your child to enter at the time of the program.
  • Please ensure your Zoom name matches the full name the Town has on record. For privacy reasons we cannot admit you to the class if it does not.
Important information

Please review the information below before your first online class.

  • When your child enters the class, everyone's microphone will be on mute.
  • The instructor will go over the Zoom specifics with the kids in the first class.
  • For safety, we ask that all participants have the webcam feature on. This way, we can know if they have left the class.
  • Your child must always tell their instructor when leaving the camera view.
  • We ask that you do not share the Zoom information with anyone else.
  • We also ask that your child is in a quiet room when participating in the program.
