COVID-19 Response

The Town is implementing a number of precautionary measures in response to the evolving COVID-19 situation. Please review the list of changes to recreation and leisure programs below:

  • Indoor Recreation facilities will be closed for programs, permits and public access including the Sports Complex, Holland Landing Community Centre and Ross Family Complex.
  • Ice programs and permits have been canceled 
  • Spring in-person programs have been postponed. Anticipated start date is week of May 3 if restrictions permit.
  • Spring Virtual programming will start April 12. 
  • Health and Active Living Summer Camp Guide will be launched April 22
  • All outdoor park amenities are available for use by individuals or members from the same household. Physical distancing is required and face masks are recommended.

Summer Adult Fitness

Check out what our Adult Fitness schedule looks like this summer! Program details like locations and descriptions can be found below. 

  • The price of each program is $10 each.
  • Registration is required up to 24 hours before the program starts. (Active EG passes are not accepted*)
  • Outdoor program cancelations may occur in the event of inclement weather.

Adult Fitness Summer Schedule

Program descriptions:

  • Barre Strength: Barre Strength is inspired by ballet, yoga and pilates. It improves posture, strengthens, and tones the body through low-impact and high intensity movements creating a lean physique.
  •  Bootcamp: This class focuses on strength, and endurance focusing mainly on body weight exercises. Join the instructor in a challenging yet fun workout that will create a healthy you!
  •  Core & More: Exercises that will use your whole body while emphasizing your core and more! Your core includes all of the 4 areas of your abdominals, back, glutes and beyond. Strengthening your abs and back will improve your posture and balance and increase your flexibility so you can stand taller and move better! A mat, water bottle, weights, body weight or household items may all be used throughout this program.
  •  EG Running Club: Come together at our beautiful, scenic Nokiidaa/Rogers Reservoir trail as we run together on a weekly basis. Whether you're a beginner or have enjoyed running for years, we will encourage each other to keep our bodies moving and improve our cardio each week! 
  •  HIIT The Playground: ‘HIIT The Playground’ at one of our outdoor fitness pods! This program is high, intensity, interval, training that will work all parts of your body and improve overall fitness. Strength, cardio, balance, and flexibility will all be incorporated into this enjoyable, outdoor program!
