Sign up for one of the three activities each session:

Vivian Creek discovery walking tours

Come by and discover the different creatures that live in Vivian Creek! Participants will have the opportunity to use nets to catch a variety of species including bugs, nymphs and worms in order to learn about the important role that they play in the environment. Dip nets and all other equipment will be provided.  Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for getting a bit wet

Tree and shrub planting

Make a difference in your community by planting trees and shrubs that will help create a valuable habitat for pollinators! Participants will have the chance to get their hands dirty while learning about how wildlife and plants work together in the environment.

Shovels will be provided for volunteers


Connecting to nature games

Want to spend more time outdoors? Learn how to develop and create your own adventure backpack with a variety of games and other hiking essentials. Reconnect to nature using tried and true nature activities

Adventure Walk to Forest Manor Park
Free BBQ. Sausages and buns from local Mt. Albert businesses.

    1 p.m.

    Official Forest Manor Park Opening
    Ribbon Cutting
    Monarch Butterfly release.
