What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It is an XML-based format in which content from blogs and websites, including the Town of East Gwillimbury, is delivered to specialized RSS news readers. Our free RSS feeds include headlines and links back to for the full article.

How do I sign up for the Town's RSS feed?

First you must get an RSS reader (see below). Then, simply click below in the "Subscribe to RSS Feed" section for the feed you'd like and follow the instructions in your RSS reader to add the feed to your list.

How do I get an RSS feed reader?

Some browsers, such as the current versions of Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, Opera, and Safari, have RSS readers built in.
