Summer Camps
Welcome to the 2012 edition of our Summer Camp Program! 
This summer we will be offering a choice of ten camps and two training programs for youth: Adventure Camp, Kids Camp, Arts & Crafts Camp, Nature Camp, Sports & More Camp, Tennis Camp, Hockey Camp, Golf Camp, Pre-School Camp, Girls Golf Camp, Leader in Training (L.I.T.) and Counsellor in Training (C.I.T.). Our Finale Camp will be moved and centralized this year at the renovated East Gwillimbury Sports Complex for the last five days of the summer. Our staff are experienced, creative and full of enthusiasm, so register early and join in the FUN!!

After opening the Registration Form for Microsoft Word and filling out the form please save it on your computer, and attach it to an e-mail and send it to leisureregistration@eastgwillimbury.ca for processing. Please ensure you are viewing the form in "Print Layout" under the View Menu to see all information. This form can only be used for Credit Card Payments.

SPORTS & MORE CAMP
Ages 6 - 12 yrs
Calling all active campers! Come out and join us in a variety of sports games and daily camp activities from bouldering wall, team spirit activities to outdoor hikes. This camp will keep your child busy all day.

KIDS CAMP
Ages 4 -12 yrs

HOCKEY CAMP
Ages 8 - 14 yrs
Campers will concentrate on the fundamentals of skating, shooting and accuracy also when and why to use certain shots. A game will be played at the end of the week matching player's age, size and skills level. Full hockey equipment required. Limit of three goalies per session.

PRE-SCHOOL CAMP
Ages 3 - 4 yrs
The new camp offers the young camper a half day of fun and excitement! Arts and crafts, kitchen creations, sing-songs, theme days and much more are all what is in store for your little one. Must be toilet trained.

LEADER IN TRAINING (L.I.T)
Ages 13 yrs+
This two week program is an introduction to leadership development. This program will consist of one week "in class" training which will detail information on program planning, communication, and policies and procedures. The second week will be a placement at one of our camp locations. It is mandatory that L.I.T.s complete the placement during the second week of the session.

ADVENTURE CAMP
Ages 9 - 13 yrs
Looking for some adventure? Each week campers will be offered an adventure of activites, from sports, skating, slackline and special guests like Aussie X football, Golf Intro, and more. We may plan some exciting out trips too, airborne trampoline, Cold Creek (High Ropes) and more. If you are looking for adventure then this is the camp for you!

FINALE CAMP
Ages 4 - 12 yrs
One final session of fun and excitement. This program will provide a variety of activities to satisfy any camper. Children are divided into age appropriate groups and will rotate to activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, and a variety of games. Various themes and special activities will be planned.

COUNSELLOR IN TRAINING (C.I.T) - VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Ages 14 & 15 yrs
This opportunity is available to all teens who have some experience working with children or for those who have completed the L.I.T. program.
C.I.T.s must volunteer for a minimum of 2 weeks during any summer session of 2011. Every effort will be made to accommodate their camp choice. The focus of this program will be developing skills, special events, theme days, programming, and being a member of a staff team.

NATURE CAMP
Ages 6 - 12 yrs
Bringing the fun back Outdoors! This camp will provide campers an opportunity to rediscover all that natures has to offer. Through hikes, nature studies, outdoor games, nature based crafts adn more. It's time to get unplugged and let mother nature provide the entertainment. NOTE: In extreme hot or inclement weather children will be indoors.

GOLF CAMP
Ages 6 - 13 yrs
This half day camp, in partnership with Northern Greens Golf Centre, provides beginner and experienced golfers the opportunity to learn more about golf and advance their playing ability through professional instruction. Campers will receive individualized golf instruction from Certified Golf Pro while practicing their new skills on the driving and chipping range.

This Arts and Crafts camp offer campers an opportunity to use their creative talents. Each day various forms of art media will be used. From oil painting, sketching, water colour, pottery, paper mache, jewelry making and much more. Your child will have many exciting things to bring home. Children will be divided into age appropriate groups.

TENNIS CAMP
Ages 6 - 14 yrs
Beginners will learn the basics of forehand, backhand, serve, and volley. For the intermediates, groundstroke and service spins, as well as the volley, lob, and overhead. For the advanced, singles and doubles strategies. Lessons will be lead by a qualified instructor. The student / instructor ratio is 8:1. Racquets and balls will be supplied. Please bring drinks daily. Please Note: In the event of inclement weather, the camp will be extended to the Friday of same week.

EXTENDED HOURS / BUS SCHEDULE
Extended Camp Hours will be offered at Ross Family Complex and Holland Landing C.C. only. Nature and Arts & Crafts camp participants wishing to use extended hours in the A.M. should be dropped off at Ross Family Complex and will be bussed to their camp location. Mount Albert Lion's C.C. campers with extended hours will be bussed to Ross Family Complex after camp. (excluding Pre-School, Tennis, Hockey, and Golf Camp)
Before Camp Hours: 7:30am - 9:00am
After Camp Hours: 3:30pm - 6:00pm
Cost: flat fee of $15.00 per week.

Please be at your stop 10 minutes before the stated time and be prepared to remain at your stop up to 10 minutes after the stated time. A camp staff member will be at each bus stop to sing your child on or off the bus.
