Santa Claus Parade

The Holland Landing Santa Claus Parade began in the late 1940s and many will remember "Pop Walker" leading the parade with his collie dog. The parade is now an annual event, alternating between Holland Landing and Sharon.

The parade will take place on Sunday, November 18, 2012 beginning at 2pm. It will begin at the Sharon Public School and will proceed north to the East Gwillimbury Civic Centre. The theme this year is "The Sights & Sounds of Christmas"

Floats and walking groups can be entered until November 12th by emailing esedgc504@rogers.com. Registration forms are available here. If you are intersted in joining the Santa Claus Parade Committee or helping out on the day of the parade, please contact Councillor Roy-DiClemente

The Mount Albert Lions Club also sponsors an annual Santa Claus Parade. It takes place on Saturday December 3th, 2011 at 11 a.m.
