Canoeing & Camping

If getting close to nature is your style, there are many camping opportunities for the whole family.  You can tent, park your trailer or rent a cottage - anything to suit your taste.

Finding a quiet place to canoe is a great idea and, with Sibbald Point Provincial Park close by, it's easy to take an afternoon to relax and unwind on some calm water. The park offers canoe rentals. There is also camping, a snack bar, showers, a beach, fuel and firewood and picnic facilities. For other canoeing opportunities contact the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority at 905-895-1281.
