Road Watch Working Group

Mission

The Road Watch Working Group provides a community perspective on road safety issues, promotes public awareness and education for road safety initiatives and programs, with an aim to enhance community participation and cooperation

Composition

The composition for this Working Group shall be: 

  • A minimum of 5 residents representing all areas within the Town limits; and 
  • One member of York Regional Police
Objectives

The objective of the Road Watch Working Group is to promote road safety and recommend various courses of action for all methods of transportation, including pedestrian, cyclist and vehicular traffic.
