Accessibility Advisory Committee

Purpose The Town of East Gwillimbury is proudly committed to promoting equal opportunity and access for all citizens with disabilities to participate as fully as possible in a barrier free community. The committee works to ensure this goal is met.
Composition A minimum of five (5) and a maximum of ten (10) persons, a majority of who are disabled as defined by the ODA and appointed by Council
Roles and Responsibilities
  • To advise Council on the preparation, implementation and effectiveness of its annual accessibility plan
  • To review site plans of and advise on accessibility issues relating to identified buildings within the Municipality
  • To advise Council on other accessibility related issues within the Municipality

Regular Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. between the following months:
