Youth Assistance Fund

The Mayor and Members of Council created a Youth Assistance Fund for residents of East Gwillimbury under age 19 who need financial assistance with costs of participation in recreational or other pursuits.

If you or someone you know has a child under age 19 who would like to take part in an organized sport, take music, karate, or art lessons, attend an out of town sporting activity with their group, or register for a Town sponsored program, but is unable to do so due to financial constraints, please remember that this fund is available.  Council wants to ensure that all East Gwillimbury children have an equal opportunity to participate, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Funded by the Mayor and Council's Annual Charity Golf Tournament, the Youth Assistance Fund has assisted many children to participate in a wide variety of activities. For more information please refer to the Application Form or contact:
