Mount Albert Community Recreation Centre Advisory Committee

Our primary purpose is to act as a liaison committee with other community groups in planning events so they do not overlap. Their one huge yearly event is the Mount Albert Sports Day and Spring Fair. This is a week-end celebration, providing entertainment for children and adults, baseball tournaments, midway rides, a soap box derby and other special activities. Sports Day is always held on the first week-end in June.

The money that we raise from this event is used, in partnership with the Town Council, to  pay for projects in the Mount Albert Community Centre building and park.

The committee meets quarterly at the call of the Chair at the Mount Albert Community Centre at 7:30 p.m. (except July, August and December)
