The Town of East Gwillimbury is proudly committed to promoting equal oppertunity and access for all citizens with disabilities to participate as fully as possible in a barrier free community.

The main purposes and activities of the East Gwillimbury Accessibility Advisory Committee are:

  • To advise Council on the preparation, implementation and effectiveness of its
    annual accessibility plan
  • To review site plans of and advise on accessibility issues relating to identified buildings within the Municipality
  • To advise Council on other accessibility related issues within the Municipality

The Committee is always looking for new interested volunteers who have a little free time to contribute towards improving our town.
