The main purposes and activities of the East Gwillimbury Accessibility Advisory Committee are:
- To advise Council on the preparation, implementation and effectiveness of its
annual accessibility plan
- To review site plans of and advise on accessibility issues relating to identified buildings within the Municipality
- To advise Council on other accessibility related issues within the Municipality

The Committee is always looking for new interested volunteers who have a little free time to contribute towards improving our town.
