Celebrate Canada Day in EG!

Join us on Wednesday, July 1 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Mount Albert Lions Community Centre (5057 Mount Albert Road, Mount Albert). Fireworks show starts at 10 p.m.

Admission for this event is free, with food and items for sale as part of the Vendor Market.

Due to limited parking, YRT shuttle service will be available for attendees from the following Town facilities:

Accessibility Information

Accessible Parking: Accessible parking is available on site at the Mount Albert Lions Community Centre. There are two parking lots available, with the lot closest to the event area reserved for accessible parking only. Please notify the parking attendant when you arrive, and they will direct you to the appropriate parking area. Fully accessible shuttle buses will also be available and provided by York Region Transit. Please see the shuttle section for more information.

Accessible Washrooms: Accessible portable washrooms are available on site. They are located in front of the field, on the gravel parking lot area near the event grass entrance.

Event Floor Surface: This is an outdoor event. Event activities will take place on grass and gravel surfaces. Please note that grass surfaces may include uneven terrain and slopes.

Seating: Seating is available on site. Picnic tables are located in the middle of the field.

Accessibility Supports: Alternative formats of event communications and information are available upon request. If you require a copy of any event communications or information in an alternative format, please email EGEvents@eastgwillimbury.ca.

Format of Event Communications/Information Provision: Event information and maps will be provided and displayed on A-frame signs throughout the event site.
