Garden Tour 2011, Saturday June 18, 2011 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
Hosted by the Friends of the East Gwillimbury Library
The classical philosopher Cicero said “If you have a garden and a library... you have everything.” Bring a camera; bring a friend; support literacy projects at the same time. Whether you are an avid gardener or just appreciate the delight of an exquisite garden you will enjoy our Garden Tour. The featured gardens run the gamut from small to large, shade to sun, relaxed to manicured.
The gardens are easy driving distance apart. All are in Sharon, Queensville and Holland Landing. In addition to the residential gardens you are invited to visit the heritage garden in the Sharon Temple at no extra charge as well as the Literacy Garden at the Holland Landing Community Centre a joint project of four community organizations.
