The Town of East Gwillimbury’s annual Toy and Food Drive will kick off November 25! Donations of unexpired, non-perishable food items, new unwrapped toys and toiletries are being accepted until Monday, December 13, 2019 to ensure delivery before Christmas!

Each year the Town along with the help of community members, schools and businesses collect hundreds of donations to support local charities and families in East Gwillimbury and York Region. Some of those charities include:

  • Holland Landing Food Pantry
  • Mount Albert Food Pantry
  • Salvation Army
  • Blue Door Shelter
  • Rose of Sharon
  • Southlake Pediatrics
  • Yellow Brick House
  • Sandgate Women’s Shelter of York Region
  • Families within the East Gwillimbury community 

Some of the items are most requested are:

  • Toiletries for men, women and babies
  • Clothing
  • Housewares and Linens
  • Baby Items
  • Toys for children under three and pre-teens
  • Non-perishable food items

The Town’s Toy and Food Drive hopes to make the holiday season a little brighter for families and charities in our communities. If you would like to participate, donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

Group Participation

If your business or community group would like to participate by collecting money and/or donations please ensure that all your donations are dropped off by December 13, 2019 to the Civic Centre.
