The Town of East Gwillimbury has a rich history which the Town is working to preserve.  The preservation of heritage resources provides a link to the past and a foundation for planning the future. Protecting and promoting our heritage will assist in maintaining and enhancing the identity and character of East Gwillimbury.

Heritage resources may include structures, sites, environments, artifacts and traditions which are of historical, architectural, archaeological, cultural and contextual value or significance.
